They are among the top 11 healthcare professionals in Singapore with the conferment by the Ministry of Health Singapore. A heartfelt tribute by medical students

Heartfelt is a collection of short stories that focuses mainly on doctors from Singapore, put together by NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine students. It is a tribute to former third-year NUS medical student Christine Chong Hui Xian, who died at age 21 from brain lymphoma in 2009. All net proceeds will go to the Christine Chong Hui Xian Bursary. Lee Foundation NHG-NUHS Lifetime Achievement Award 2013 goes to Prof Yap Hui Kim

Congratulations to Professor Yap Hui Kim on receiving the prestigious Lee Foundation NHG-NUHS Lifetime Achievement Award 2013! The award recognises outstanding clinician leaders from NHG and NUHS in clinical, education and research excellence. A pioneer of the Paediatric Nephrology service at NUHS and in Singapore, Professor Yap Hui Kim was instrumental in starting and developing the National Paediatric Renal Replacement Programme (Dialysis and Transplantation for children), which was inaugurated in 1988.
