2nd Singapore Autophagy Symposium - NUS Medical Sciences Cluster

2nd Singapore Autophagy Symposium 2019

Date    : 15th January 2019, Tuesday

Time    : 9 am to 6 pm

Venue : Auditorium, Level 1, Clinical Research Centre (Block MD 11), NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, 10 Medical Drive, Singapore 117597

Highlights

Autophagy is key cellular degradative process with important biological functions and has been implicated in many important human diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, immunity and ageing. This 2nd Singapore Autophagy Symposium (SAS) will have international speakers including Professor Noboru Mizushima from the University of Tokyo as the keynote speaker and local speakers covering various important topics in autophagy research, from molecular mechanisms to potential clinical applications, from mitophagy to xenophagy, from yeast, Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) to zebrafish and mammals. We aim to provide an opportunity to learn the cutting edge development from international leading experts, to showcase our achievements and to bring the autophagy research in Singapore to a new peak.

We welcome everyone to register and attend as there is no registration fee.
